According to the Cleveland Clinic in the US, pelvic pain will affect 50% of all men sooner or later; either acute or chronic.

A new research project is looking at whether Pfizer’s famous impotence drug Viagra could be used to ease what is called pelvic pain syndrome the symptoms of which are groin ache and bladder discomfort.

Researchers have been speculating on whether the sildenafil citrate medicine could help to open blood vessels that could be the reason for the pain.

The list of uses of Viagra for other ailments such as pulmonary arterial hypertension, Raynaud’s disease, heart failure, benign prostatic hyperplasia and even for an enlarged prostate continues to grow.

Viagra could well end up making more money from these other uses than from erectile dysfunction.

Remarkably, of the ten women that became pregnant after being treated with Viagra (Sildenafil citrate), two others are now expecting twins!

Well, I just hope that when finally born, the triplets are girls and they grow up looking like this:

Henry Ford Hospital Doctors Study Viagra (Sildenafil citrate) As Stroke Treatment

9 01 2008

Henry Ford Hospital doctors have begun studying Viagra as a possible treatment for strokes. The study will focus on Viagra’s effect on people who have suffered ischemic strokes, which are caused by blocked arteries. Almost 90 percent of the 700,000 strokes that occur yearly in the United States are ischemic, and they often cause long-term disability and death.

Animal tests have indicated Viagra (Sildenafil citrate), the sexual performance drug used by millions of men, can improve memory and movement by helping injured brains develop new cells and blood vessels, researchers said.

Pfizers Viagra (Sildenafil citrate) Saves Under weight Premature Babies

(Example of a premature palm-sized baby on an electronic scale which reads 0.832 kg)

British doctors used the anti-impotence drug Viagra to save the life of a severely premature baby, media reports have said. Medics in the northeast city of Newcastle upon Tyne gave the drug to Lewis Goodfellow — who was born at 24 weeks, weighing just one pound, eight ounces (780 grammes) — as one of his lungs failed and not enough oxygen was getting into his bloodstream.

The drug opened up tiny blood vessels in his lungs, allowing oxygen to be captured and flow around the body. Lewis, who was born in August last year, was eventually allowed home last month.

“What Sildenafil (Viagra) does is open up the blood vessels so they can capture the oxygen and take it around the body,” he was quoted as saying by BBC News Online. - healthrelatedinfos.com

Viagra works in this case by acting on an enzyme called PDE-5, which allows blood vessels to expand and increases blood flow to the baby.

Acting on the enzyme called PDE-5 is why Viagra (Sildenafil citrate) has been found to be useful in so many different cases such as: reversing women’s infertility, curing Crohn’s Disease, and curing Raynaud’s disease .

Pfizer’s Viagra (Sildenafil citrate) Reverses Infertile Women!!!

VIAGRA REVERSES INFERTILITY

infertile-women-pregnant-viagra-reverses-infertility

“In a US study three out of four previously infertile women who used Viagra became pregnant.”

- news.bbc.co.uk

However, this is not for all infertile women.

Some women’s uteruses are too thin to sustain a fetus, and in these cases, Viagra could increase blood flow to the uterus, stimulate cell growth, and improve these women’s chances of successful childbirth.

The women in the study had to endure an awkward method of taking the Vigara. The researchers ground up the Viagra tablets and made them into a vaginal suppository which the women inserted four times a day. Well worth it though to those otherwise infertile women.

The only miracle-Viagra story left that would surprise me is if Viagra brings someone back from the dead.

Buy Viagra, It Might Help With Crohn’s Disease!

22 12 2007

Pfizer’s Viagra may offer help in cases of the mysterious Crohn’s disease.

“In Crohn’s disease, chronic inflammation causes ulcers within the digestive tract that can lead to severe gastrointestinal symptoms, including abdominal pain, persistent diarrhea, and rectal bleeding” - webmd.com

Doctors do not know the cause of Crohn’s disease.

“The most widely accepted theory is that an overactive immune system causes the damaging inflammation. But researchers from the University College London say the opposite appears to be true.” - webmd.com

Overactive immune system or underactive immune system?

How can a disease be safely and effectively treated in light of this controversy?

Scientists from the University College of London, compared the immune system response of Crohn’s patients and healthy individuals to minor injuries, such as skin abrasions. They found that Crohn’s was triggered by a weak immune system, rather than an overactive one where cells are attacked by the body’s own immune system. Crohn’s patients did not generate enough white blood cells - needed to fight bacteria.

That’s it. By increasing blood flood, Pfizer’s Viagra might be the miracle cure that tens of thousands of patients suffering the pain and agony of Crohn’s disease have been praying for.

Researchers say much more testing is needed.

‘nite.

Buy Viagra, It Cures Raynaud’s Disease

Viagra Cures Cold hands from Raynaud’s Disease

viagra-cure-reynaudshands2viagra-cure-reynaudshands1

Raynaud disease (RAY-noz) is a condition that affects blood flow to the extremities which include the fingers, toes, nose and ears when exposed to temperature changes or stress. It was named after Maurice Raynaud (1834 - 1881),[1] a French physician who first described it in 1862. - wikipedia.com

German researchers report that in a small study of patients with severe Raynaud’s phenomenon who were previously non-responsive to conventional treatment with vasodilators, Viagra significantly improved microcirculation. In Raynaud’s patients who had chronic ulcers on toes or fingers, the sores healed significantly with Viagra treatment. When Viagra was stopped, the ulcers came back or worsened - about.com

Isn’t this just amazing?

The real miricle is not just the Viagra alone, but that the Viagra improved blood circulation to the part of the body that needs it most. Reminds me of when I was a kid I asked my mother, (a trained nurse), “when I take an aspirin for pain, how does the aspirin know where I hurt?”.

I forgot the answer by now, duh.

So, how does the Viagra know that it should increase the blood circulation to the hands?

Will male Raynaud’s disease patients be getting erections everyday?
