Is National Impotence Day On Your Calendar?

31 01 2008

February 14th Is National Impotence Day.

Send your girl some wilted flowers or some chocolates that are melted into a brown pool of yuck. :D

Well, how else are we to celebrate National Impotence Day? Flags, floats, high school marching bands, and confetti? A day to mark the fact that millions of men can not get a hardon and millions of women are frigid.

National Impotence Day is the brainchild of the Sexual Dysfunction Association.

VALENTINE’S DAY HIGHLIGHTS GROWING AWARENESS OF FEMALE IMPOTENCE

As millions of couples the world over celebrate Valentine’s Day on February 14, a large percentage of the population, both men and women, may be doing their utmost to forget that the day has also been named National Impotence Day. - prnewswire.co.uk

Anyways, is this just a UK thing?

National Impotence Day is an annual health campaign run by the Sexual Dysfunction Association - which aims to raise public and medical profession awareness of this stigmatised but common condition. The day also coincides with the fpa’s (formally the Family Planning Association) Contraceptive Awareness Week (9-15 February). - st-marys.nhs.uk

Is this a paid holiday for the Brits?

Using Viagra Could Cause You To Everlastingly Burn In Hell

14 01 2008

Single Men Using Viagra Are Sinners according to Matt Abbott who writes for catholic.org. Actually, Matt quotes syndicated columnist Grace MacKinnon (www.DearGrace.com), then he just agrees with her. I searched over and over, but I could not find the quote on her site, hmmm, so I will attribute the words to www.catholic.org until I receive notification of the whereabouts of her article.

“You can see, therefore, that because we believe firmly that sex outside of marriage is immoral, then the use of Viagra — a drug specifically used to assist males to be able to have sexual intercourse — would most naturally be condemned as immoral if used by single men. This teaching by the Church regarding no sex outside of marriage is often not a popular one and creates a tremendous challenge for many single persons today, but the reality is that it is a beautiful teaching, for it comes from God, and therefore we know that it comes from His loving heart and is, thus, for our ultimate good and true happiness.” - www.catholic.org

So there it is guys.

If you’re catholic, single, and taking Viagra for your erectile dysfunction while you bounce Betty that you met at a club, your religion says that you are a sinner and if you don’t repent, you’re going to burn in hell for that few moments of sexual pleasure. It’s your religion, you deal with it.

Unrelated, but just a small scoop so I’ll squeeze it in here.

“Last week, four scientists working in London for the World Health Organization reported they had developed a device that could instantly determine whether a woman is fertile by connecting an electronic thermometer to a clock equipped with a computer chip that monitors a woman’s temperature during her menstrual cycle.” - nytimes.com

A green light signals infertility.

Ok, just kidding with the photo. Actually, you know how they installed a alcohol breath analyser in cars? If you’re drunk, the car won’t start. They should do that with the fertility meter. If she is not fertile, the car won’t start. LOL.

Viagra Can Give You a Super Erection and Give Super Erect Flowers For Your Girl

2 01 2008

flowers-stay-alive-erect-viagra

According to myscienceproject.org it’s true, that Viagra (Sildenafil citrate) will help cut flowers stay alive twice as long. They actually did an experiment as pictured above.

“Viagra (sildenafil citrate) has a firmly established ability to keep the male organ erect. But you might be surprised to learn that it has also been used in the laboratory to keep cut flowers from going limp. With Mother’s Day coming up, we decided to test this out for ourselves and find out if the same pill that keeps Dad’s woody from wilting can keep Mom’s mums looking perky. We also compared two other chemical additives recommended by household hints sites for keeping flowers fresh – vodka and Sprite.” - myscienceproject.org

:D

What I had read somewhere was to use weak solution of Viagra (about 1/50 of the dosage taken for erectile dysfunction) would help cut flowers stay alive twice as long. It does this by creating nitric oxide.

My understanding is that the usual dose of Viagra is 50mg. So that would mean that we would use about 1mg of Viagra for the flowers. The myscienceproject.org experiment used 10mg; rather large dose.

“They have already tested Viagra on strawberries, legumes, roses, carnations, broccoli, and other perishables. In this latest research they found that 1 mg of the drug (compared with 50 mg in one pill taken by impotent men) in a solution was enough to prevent two vases of cut flowers from wilting for as much as a week longer than might be expected.” - bmj.com

Even buying just a small order of Viagra, like 10 pills x 50mg, would only be about $30. That’s only $3/pill and you would get 50 vases of flowers from each pill. End cost for each Viagrafied vase of flowers would be about 6 cents.

So, you would get nine Viagara erections (get laid nine times), and her flowers would still be erect long after your Willy has wilted.

That’s cheap enough to keep her smiling for an extra week!

Doctors Warn Men With Sleep Disorder Against Viagra or Sildenafil Citrate

20 12 2007

viagra-warnings-john-hopkins

buy-viagra-drug-warning-small

Research doctors at one of America’s most prestigious universities, Johns Hopkins University (opened 1876), are warning men with sleep apnea to consider the risks and benefits before taking Pfizer’s Viagra or any drug containing Sildenafil citrate, the active ingredient in Viagra.

Sleep apnea, sleep apnoea or sleep apnœa is a sleep disorder characterized by pauses in breathing during sleep - wikipedia.com

Sleep apnea is very common, as common as adult diabetes, and affects more than twelve million Americans, according to the National Institutes of Health. Risk factors include being male, overweight, and over the age of forty, but sleep apnea can strike anyone at any age, even children. Yet still because of the lack of awareness by the public and healthcare professionals, the vast majority remain undiagnosed and therefore untreated, despite the fact that this serious disorder can have significant consequences. An estimated 18 million Americans have obstructive sleep apnea, yet 95% of them are undiagnosed and untreated. Sleep apnea is about twice as common among men as among women. - sleepapnea.org

And now there’s news that Viagra (sildenafil) may worsen severe sleep apnea.

A report in the Archives Internal Medicine (Volume 166, page 1763 ) suggests that taking Viagra at bedtime may worsen severe obstructive sleep apnea. This may be disturbing news to many men, because erectile dysfunction is particularly common among those with sleep apnea. Viagra prolongs the action of nitric oxide, which promotes upper airway congestion, thereby contributing to sleep apnea. The researchers studied 14 men with severe sleep apnea, who spent a night in a sleep lab having their breath and blood oxygen monitored after they took a single 50- mg dose of Viagra or a placebo. johnhopkins.com

Just one dose of Viagra significantly increased the amount of sleep time with a lower blood oxygen saturation level; while asleep, men who took Viagra weren’t getting as much oxygen as those who took a placebo. They also had more breathing pauses per hour.

Bottom line advice on Viagra and sleep apnea: If you take Viagra and have sleep apnea, talk with your doctor about whether the pleasures you derive from taking the drug outweigh the risks of worsening your nighttime breathing problems.

Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, And Generic Sildenafil Citrate Could Be Doing More Than Just Affecting Erectile Dysfunction

19 12 2007

viagra-pharmacists

They all look like they just shared

some of their drugs ;)

Researchers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison report this month that sildenafil increases the amount of oxytocin released by stimulation of the posterior pituitary gland, a small structure directly underneath the brain that regulates hormone levels in response to neural signals.

Sometimes called the “love hormone” or “cuddle chemical,” oxytocin plays several important roles in social interactions and reproduction, including triggering uterine contractions and lactation. It is also released during orgasm and has been linked to sexual arousal.

- news.wisc.edu

So what?

Well, this research finding basically means that Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, and the generic Sildenafil citrate may do their work through multiple channels, not just allowing more blood to enter the penis, but by having some sort of effect on brain cells. It also opens door to other uses for Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, and the generic Sildenafil citrate.

According to one research doctor, Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, and the generic Sildenafil citrate might actually have some monor aphrodisiac properties:

“…our results provide the groundwork for further studies looking at the way hormones may be affecting human attachment. We know that oxytocin is one of the hormones that can facilitate bonding in other animals, but this is the first step in exploring whether it plays a role in the emotional behavior of humans. - Rebecca Turner, PhD, UCSF

So, more benefits for you and more posts for me. :D

Merry Christmas!

Reported Side Effects of Viagra

12 11 2007

viagra-headache

This is a table showing the adverse events reported by more than 2% of patients treated with viagra, but only if the event was more frequent on Viagra than on placebo.

Event Viagra Placebo
Headache 16% 4%
Flushing 10% 1%
Dyspepsia 7% 2%
Nasal Congestion 4% 2%
Urinary Tract Infection 3% 2%
Abnormal Vision 3% 0%
Diarrhea 3% 1%
Dizziness 2% 1%
Rash 2% 1%

- rxlist.com

Other side effects; reported by less than 2%.

Many people who take Viagra notice a change in the way they perceive green and blue colors, or they see the world with a bluish tinge for several hours. For this reason, pilots cannot take Viagra within 12 hours of a flight.

Another problem comes for people who are taking drugs like nitroglycerin for angina. Nitroglycerin works by increasing nitric oxide, and it helps with angina by opening up the arteries that supply the heart with oxygen. If you take nitroglycerin and Viagra together, the increased nitric oxide plus the blocking of PDE5 can lead to problems.

so be careful,

Church Buys Two Million Pounds Worth Of Viagra

11 11 2007

Sometimes during my researching, I come across a story that’s interesting but it just does not provide enough “meat” for a full post here. Here are a few of those tidbits thrown together to make a post.

—————

The Church of England bought US$3.2 million worth of share’s in Pfizer’s Viagra in 1998. Imagine what that’s worth now?

“The Church of England has announced it is very happy with Viagra. It isn’t necessarily the action of the drug they like; rather, they have stock in its manufacturer, Pfizer, which has nearly doubled in less than a year. “We certainly have had a good return on that investment,” a spokesman for the church commissioners said. The church owns about two million pounds (US$3.2 million) worth of the stock. (Reuters) …Truly a wonder drug: it even works on money.” - thisistrue.com

—————

“…a man walked into a pharmacy in Madrid, pulled out two toy guns and told the attendants to hand over all the Viagra in stock. Two hours later, in what was perhaps a show of gratitude, he returned with two bouquets of roses, before being arrested.” - scotlandonsunday.scotsman.com

—————-

In some Viagra studies up to 40% of men reported having better erections even though they had been secretly given a placebo instead of Viagra. - ukmedix.com

—————

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - The Dutch town of Breda has decided to rename a new street that was to have been called St. Fiacrius court after people started calling it Viagra court.

The town council changed the street’s name to “Hofhage” after people about to move into a planned housing development there complained about the negative associations of living in a street with a name that sounds like the popular impotence drug. - rueters

Pfizer Viagra Or African Generic Sildenafil; Which Is Cheaper?

9 11 2007

Today I decided to search for “sildenafil citrate”, (the active ingredient in Viagra), on Google.
sildenafil-molecule

First in Google’s SERPs is wikipedia, then rxlist, both good informative sites. Next is buysildenafilcitrate.net, a site that promotes viagra substitute medications; generic versions. Keep in mind that Pfizer has the patent on the Sildenafil citrate formula with which Viagra is manufactured, and their patent is recognized in US, Canada, UK, China, most of Europe, and many other countries.

buysildenafilcitrate.net is registered to:

It seems that buysildenafilcitrate.net, (the #3 site with Google), does not sell the generic viagra itself, but is more like a “generic viagra review site”, (although there might be some affiliate codes in the URLs). I checked their page for Viagra Substitutes and I learned there are more variations of generic Viagra than I had ever dreamed.

Cheap Generic Viagra Substitutes
There are several proven so-called viagra substitutes:

Seyagra
Manufacturer: Seypharma
Generic ingredient: Sildenafil Citrate

Caverta
Manufacturer: Ranbaxy
Generic ingredient: Sildenafil Citrate

Penegra
Manufacturer: Zydus Cadila
Generic ingredient: Sildenafil Citrate

Silagra
Manufacturer: Cipla
Generic ingredient: Sildenafil Citrate

Kamagra
Manufacturer: Ajantha pharmaceuticals
Generic ingredient: Sildenafil Citrate

I had heard of the last one, Kamagra, but not the others, so, I decided to start at the top of the list with Seyagra and the Seypharma manufacturer.

But first, let’s look at what buysildenafilcitrate.net says about Seyagra:

“Seyagra is the drug Sildenafil Citrate manufactured by Seypharma. It has the same ingredients, composition and strength as Pfizer’s Viagra. The only difference is that Seygra is much cheaper than Viagra!”.

“Seyagra is the generic version of Viagra, which contains the active ingredient Sildenafil Citrate. Like all generics, Seyagra is cheaper than its brand-name equivalent because it does not include the costs of advertising and marketing in its price”.

Same thing, lower price, I had to check it out.

Next, I surfed to seypharma.com and checked their domain registration information and then their price list.

What country is SC and where the F’ is Mahe?

October 12, 2007
COUNTRY DESCRIPTION: The Republic of Seychelles consists of 115 islands off the east coast of Africa. The main islands of this archipelago include Mahe, which is the largest, followed by Praslin and La Digue. The total population is approximately 81,000. The capital, Victoria, is located on Mahe. - US Dept of State

seychelles-viagra-seypharma

Ok, so if you buy your generic viagra from seypharma.com, which is highly recommended by buysildenafilcitrate.net because their generic viagra contains the same ingredients as Pfizer’s Viagra and it’s cheaper, your medications will be coming to you from The Republic of Seychelles; some islands off the coast of Africa. Obviously, The Republic of Seychelles does not recognize patents. What other international standards do they NOT recognize? Sanitation? Privacy?

So here’s the quesiont: Pfizer Viagra Or Generic Sildenafil from the coast of Africa; Which Is Cheaper?

Sildenafil 50mg - 10 10 $39.00
Sildenafil 50mg - 30 Viagra® 30 $89.00
Sildenafil 50mg - 60 Viagra® 60 $139.00
www.seypharma.com/one_products.php?cPath=40

Viagra® 50 mg 10 pills x 50mg $30.22
Viagra® 50 mg 30 pills x 50mg $60.23
Viagra® 50 mg 60 pills x 50mg $111.65
www.canadianmedsworld.com/item.php?id=188

They look almost the same to me, with the Canadian pharmacy a little lower.

So, after all that work, I would be getting my medications from some tiny island off the coast of Africa which does not honor patents, probably has never heard of sanitation or quality control, and I wouldn’t be saving a penny.

Go figure.

Italians Hold All Time Viagra Query Record

27 10 2007

I was expecting the United States to account for most viagra searches on Google, but much to my surprise, according to Google Trends, Italy holds the All Time record of “viagra” queries, with the Brits in 2nd place, followed by the Germans.

viagra-google-trends

Here’s the list:

Viagra Queries All Time
1. Italy
2. United Kingdom
3. Germany
4. Argentina
5. Sweden
6. Austria
7. Switzerland
8. United States
9. Australia
10. Poland

However, if we look at the “viagra” queries done so far this year, the Russians have 1st place, with Argentinans in 2nd place, followed by the Brits.

1. Russia
2. Argentina
3. United Kingdom
4. Italy
5. Sweden
6. Germany
7. Chile
8. Austria
9. Spain
10. Poland

Are Russian men buying more generic viagra, (Sildenafil citrate), this year or are the Russian spammers checking their generic viagra stats online more often?

In order to dig a bit deeper into this mystery, we checked Google Trends for “buy viagra” and for “buy viagra online”:

buy viagra
1. Russia
2. Argentina
3. United Kingdom

buy viagra online
1. Russia
2. Ukraine
3. India (distant 3rd)

Ok, I don’t know what this proves, if anything, but there are the trends for you to decide.

Making Viagra for the first time took a series of 11 chemical reactions. It was not very efficient and to make 1 kg of Viagra required 23.8 kg of reagents and produced 139 litres of organic waste.

To make 1kg of Viagra™ now only requires 1.5 kg of reagents and produces just 10 litres of waste.

Viagra :: Food For Your Brain?

23 10 2007

A new trend is emerging, Viagra-like chemicals and substances designed to enhance your other head; your brain!

In some cases, the name Viagra is becoming synonymous with “super performance”, as in the image below from bodybuilding.com. viagra-for-the-brain

In this image, “viagra” is used like “super performance”.

“Vinpocetine is a natural substance that is effective at increasing memory, mental focus, and blood flow to the brain…” - bodybuilding.com

However, research scientists at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine are discovering that there is more to Viagra, (Sildenanfil citrate), then just a hard penis poking Pamela.

“The same chemical in the body that is targeted by the drug Viagra® also helps our brains “boot up” in the morning so we can process sights, sound, touch and other sensory information.” - Dwayne Godwin, Ph.D.

- sciencedaily.com

Further evidence is an article by Robert Langreth for forbes.com

Viagra for the Brain
Robert Langreth, 02.04.02
Biotech firms are tantalizingly close to unraveling the mysteries of memory. On the way are drugs to help fading minds remember and let haunted ones forget.

So, the future holds for us, not only super penis’, but also super memories. Which means we’ll be able to remember the names of all the Pamelas that we’ve poked.

What Viagra Can NOT Do

22 10 2007

It’s pretty common knowledge what Pfizer’s Viagra can do for a man, basically Viagra allows an increase in blood flow to the penis. However, the Viagra sales pitch implies much more. In some cases, the sales pitch is blatantly false, such as, “Have Bigger Erections!” and “Get Aroused Faster with Viagra!”.

Over zealous “journalists sometimes contribute to the hype, such as Mary Bellis’s article titled “Viagra, the patenting of an aphrodisiac” on about.com.

Two Myths Debunked:

1. Viagra does not make a man’s penis larger.

average-penis-chart

The average erect penis is about six inches and if that was your size before taking Viagra, that will be your size after taking Viagra.

2. Viagra does not cause a man to be sexually aroused, it does not increase a man’s desire for sex, it does not make a man horny.

“Viagra (Sildenafil citrate) should be used only to help restore a man’s ability to respond naturally to sexual stimulation, said Irawan Rustandi, the firm’s medical director.”

“It is a strong medicine only effective for those suffering from erectile dysfunction and its effect cannot be found in people with normal erectile function,” Irawan said. “So, it is not a drug for sex adventurers.

Pfizer Admits Mutilating Dogs’ Genitals

14 10 2007

Some would say that men will go to any length for the ultimate pleasure that sex accords, others will say that it’s the almighty buck that seduces and corrupts the otherwise intelligent minds of men.

viagra-pfzer-dog-genitals

In either case, Pfizer’s motivation to produce Viagra is the money and the fame, we can be sure of that, but Pfizer may have gone to far when they mutilated the genitals of Beagles in order to get their holy Viagra approved for production.

Animal rights groups were understandably outraged that the experiments consisted of giving the Beagles electric shocks via electrodes inserted into the center of the Beagles penis’. Ouch!

The experimentation was not done to ensure the safety of the drug, but rather, to measure the firmness of the Beagles penis’ after being given varying dosages of Viagra.

The research on the impotence pill was carried out at Pfizer’s UK laboratories in Sandwich, Kent. I wonder what would have been the reaction if this research was conducted in the United States? My guess is 100 or so animal rights activists picketing outside of Pfizer’s front door. Deliberately blocking the walkways and/or traffic in order to bring the police cars with flashing lights onto the scene. And, of course, civil disobedience always brings the cameras for the six-o’clock national TV news.

But according to Pfizer, all is well because the cute little Beagles were anesthetized and never felt any pain.

Viagra Information :: Pfizer Viagra Does Not Solve Impotence

8 10 2007

relationship-viagraRecent viagra information is showing the public what many psychologists already knew, Pfizer viagra does not solve the problems that male impotence causes in relationships. Male impotency in relationships is a psychological problem as much as it is a physical problem.

Pfizer Viagra gives a couple the illusion that it’s the answer to their prayers; erection when needed. However, according to a new Viagra information report from Harvard Medical School, Pfizer Viagra does nothing to untangle the emotional pressures that occur with erectile dysfunction, (ED).

In some cases, the man with erectile dysfunction might have been without an erection for so long that he experiences erectile anxiety and his partner might mistake that anxiety for physical/sexual disinterest. Pfizer Viagra does not increase a man’s libido, sexual desire, or sexual drive.

In other cases, the partner might assume that the man’s Pfizer Viagra enhanced erections are merely a chemical phenomenon rather than true sexual desire.

In both of these cases, sex therapy may be helpful.

Viagra Information :: Pfizer’s Viagra Cures Jet Lag

7 10 2007

New viagra information from a report by newscientist.com, if you’re a hamster, the little blue pill from Pfizer, the miracle Viagra pill, could ease your worldly travels.

“Hamsters that received small doses of Sildenafil, sold under the name Viagra, adjusted more quickly to laboratory simulations of a six-hour time-zone change than animals in the control group.”

The viagra information experiment consisted of injecting the little guys with 70 micro grams of Pfizer’s Viagra, then their cage lights were switched on six hours prematurely to simulate a six hour time shift equivalent to flying from New York to Paris.

The Sildenafil-injected hamsters recovered from the jet lag 25-50 percent more quickly than the animals that were not given the drug. The drug, however, only worked when applied before an advance in the light/dark cycle, equivalent to an eastbound flight. It did not work in the reverse or what would be the equivalent of a westbound flight.

Startling New Viagra Information: Pfizer’s Miracle Viagra Causes Oral Sex Among Grandparents!

A US federally funded, (read, tax payer’s dollars), study done by respected scientists published their results in a recent New England Journal of Medicine.

Amazingly, more than half of the study’s participants aged 57 to 75 said they gave or received oral sex, as did about a third of 75- to 85-year-olds. I am shocked!

Some results from the link above:

  • Sex with a partner in the previous year was reported by 73 percent of people ages 57 to 64; 53 percent of those ages 64 to 75, and 26 percent of people 75 to 85. Of those who were active, most said they did it two to three times a month or more.
  • Women at all ages were less likely to be sexually active than men. But they also lacked partners; far more were widowed.
  • People whose health was excellent or very good were nearly twice as likely to be sexually active as those in poor or fair health.
  • Only 22 percent of women and 38 percent of men had discussed sex with a doctor since age 50.

Each participant was asked hundreds of questions in an interviewed which lasted about two hours and the answers from each gender regarding oral sex verified the other gender’s response. Many other factors were measured including testing the participants ability to taste, see, smell, and hear, all of which part a big part in sexual intercourse.

It is not know the exact number of participants taking Viagra especially since Viagra is easy to obtain online, but it’s hard to believe this much sexual activity in seniors without the blue miracle: Viagra.

New Viagra Information :: Viagra Saves Unconsummated Marriages

5 10 2007

generic-viagra-divorce

When I first heard the startling Viagra Information that Pfizer’s Viagra could save unconsummated marriages, I had to research the meaning of “unconsummated”, to make things easier for you, it basically means incomplete; something critical is missing, ( I think they mean sex, like not getting laid enough).

Doctors at Cairo University Hospital have released new Viagra Information which shows successful use of Pfizer’s Viagra to solve marital problems. Imagine, of the thirty-five patients in the study, thirty-two were able to overcome their marital problems after taking Viagra. Twenty-three patients needed the Viagra for only one month.

The doctor’s conclusion: “Viagra is effective as a short-term treatment option in the management of unconsummated marriages.”

My conclusion: The wives just needed a rock-hard rod 3 or 4 times per week so they could brag to their girlfriends what a huge stud their husbands are.

That’s all.

Viagra Information :: Avoid Getting Ripped Off

5 10 2007

As you are probably already aware, there are a few unscrupulous people online that think selling medications is a get rich scheme, they take your money and then forget you. We asked our team of “Viagra Information” experts for suggestions on how to purchase viagra online safely and securely.

Here are their suggestions:

Make sure there is a physical address on the website selling the Viagra. It should be a real address, not a P.O. box.

They should have a toll free telephone number. If something goes wrong you want to be able to speak to a real live person.

They should have a 24-hour chat or Instant Messenger customer service? The reliable, established internet pharmacies all have this service integrated into their sites in order to provide Viagra Information.

You should “test drive” their toll free number and their online chat for reliable service.

Additionally, you can ask them if they do the shipping or just the billing. Ask them for the Viagra merchant’s actual name vs the website name. Ask them where the Viagra was manufactured.  Get all the Viagra Information possible.

Lastly, when you purchase from a site for your first time, make your order small. You can always reorder more after you have seen their delivery and billing in action.

That’s all.
