A family run pharmacy in Marmaduke, Arkansas was robbed of Viagra and other drugs valued at more than $4,000 according to owner Kathryn Eddington.
“The thief was able to enter the Marmaduke Family Pharmacy through the roof, slipping through a very narrow 18″ wide entrance.” - kait8.com
They have a hole in their roof a foot and a half wide?
“The suspect spent 17 minutes in the store before alarms went off and police were alerted.” - kait8.com
They have a time delay alarm system?
Why am I being so cynical and suspicious? Well, first of all, Marmaduke is not a big town.
“Estimated population in July 2006: 1,172. Males: 534, females: 624″ - city-data.com
Obviously, some of those 1,172 are children not capable of such an act and certainly not knowledgeable of nor interested in Viagra

In fact, 773 of the 1,172 are children of school age leaving only 399 adults in the town.
So, how many suspects are there to track down?
I say business has been too slow for the owners to earn a good living. How can you make a good profit with just 399 adult customers in the entire town? So, I’m saying it was an inside job.
The plan: fake the robbery, collect some insurance money for the stolen merchandise, (viagra), add the Viagra back to inventory after things cool down, get sympathy and attention from the residents, and maybe even some state wide TV or newspaper publicity.
Oh yah, and get this. This family pharmacy in the sleepy town of 399 adults was robbed three times in just four months.
Here is the owner’s plea for sympathy:
“Since the tornado has gone through, this town has really had to struggling to rebuild and re-grow and we would really hate to think of what would happen to this community if the pharmacy were to close,” said owner Kathryn Eddington.”
/sniff/
yah right.
