In a followup to my post Don’t Buy Viagra, there have been many cases of men reporting seeing a blue tinge around objects after taking Viagra.

For some foolish reason I searched for ‘don’t buy viagra’, instead of my usual ‘buy viagra’.

I wound up finding plenty of reasons to not use Viagra (Sildenafil citrate).

-Seven patients, aged between 50 and 69 years, had typical features of NAION within 36 hours after ingestion of Viagra for erectile dysfunction. Seven similar cases have been previously reported. -Pharmaceutical companies warn men not to take Viagra without a prescription from a doctor because of the many risks, especially for men taking nitroglycerin, which is a heart drug that lowers high blood pressure.

 

-The British Medical Journal[2] reports several cases of men taking Viagra who maintained painful erections for up to 24 hours after ejaculation (called priapism). This totally unnatural occurrence is so dangerous that it can actually damage the tiny valves in the penis veins, leading to permanent impotence.

 

-Men who take Viagra may be shooting blanks according to new research conducted at Queen’s University in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Viagra, it seems, causes sperm cells to premature release digestive enzymes that normally break down the wall of the egg. As a result, sperm from men who take Viagra can no longer fertilize eggs as effectively.

-CBS News analyzed four years of Viagra adverse events reported to the FDA. There were eye problems in more than 800 patients with more than 140 cases of partial or total blindness. These reports alone aren’t proof of a direct link, but, experts look to them for patterns. The FDA asked manufacturers of Cialis, Levitra, and Viagra to revise product labeling after a very small number of patients taking the PDE5 inhibitors reported sudden hearing loss, sometimes accompanied by ringing in the ears and dizziness.

In a followup to Pfizer’s Viagra (Sildenafil citrate) Proves Useful for Diabetes Patients which explains how Viagra aids diabetics by allowing an increase of blood to their stomach, breakthrough research has shown that diabetics that are not able to exercise might get extended help.

Diabetics need to exercise because it improves blood sugar metabolism. Exercise contracts the muscles, stimulating nitric oxide to carry glucose from the blood to be burnt up by the muscles, but many diabetics have other physical or health complications that keep them from exercising.

A diabetes treatment that uses drugs including Viagra to mimic the effects of physical exercise may be just three years away. Scientists from the Alfred Baker Medical Unit and Monash University believe they have found a way to reduce dangerously high blood sugar levels in diabetes sufferers by artificially boosting a chemical produced by the body during exercise. - theage.com

This new drug which includes Sildenafil citrate (the active ingredient in Viagra) tricks the body into thinking that it is exercising and therefore it produces increased amounts of nitric oxide which the diabetic needs.

MS is the most common disabling disease of the central nervous system in young adults.

I tried researching neurodegeneration and grey matter perfusion, but I’m not sure if I got it right. I think it means that Viagra (Sildenafil citrate), Pfizer’s miracle cure for Erectile Dysfunction (male impotence) can help the MS patient’s brain to receive nutritional benefits from their blood supply more readily.

It’s just fascinating all the uses for Pfizer’s Viagra.

Last week I implied that many men might be misdiagnosing themselves with the medical condition erectile dysfunction or maybe they do have erectile dysfunction, but are overlooking the simplest causes and easiest solutions. We are such a pop-a-pill society that Viagra naturally seems to be the perfect solution.

If you live a sedentary lifestyle start exercising, if you are overweight lose it, if you smoke stop.

So, what’s the best exercise for this situation?

Yup, walking!

It’s been proven in the Honolulu Heart Study, (among others), a 12-year study of 700 men. Men that walk two miles a day, (you can do that in one hour, dude), are less likely to die in the 12 years that follow.

Study after study shows that men over the age of 40 have at least occasional difficulty getting or maintaining an erection with just the typical sexual stimulation; sexual fantasies or the sight of an erotically dressed—or undressed woman . In other words, what used to bring about a rock-hard rod, no longer does the trick. Older guys need more stimulation!

Most of these men might think that they have the medical condition known as erectile dysfunction, (ED) but they are too embarrassed to seek help from their doctor, so their suffering continues with no hope. I have absolutely no medical training whatsoever, but I have an opinion on the cause and cure of this condition which seems to be erectile dysfunction with men over the age of 40; EXERCISE YOUR LAZY ASS!

No, I do not mean exercise your penis, I mean exercise your entire body, especially the cardiovascular system. Get your heart pumping with physical exercise.

I will present some evidence to support my opinion as well as some good forms of exercises that might be most helpful for ED in future posts.

A test has being done on 14 mountaineers involving generic viagra, (Sildenafil citrate). The theory is that the generic viagra might decrease the climber’s pulmonary hypertension, (high blood pressure), which is experienced by all climbers above certain heights.

The professor leading the test, Professor Grimminger explained that climbers suffer pulmonary hypertension (PHT) due to a lack of oxygen, which is only partly resolved by acclimatisation. ‘A stay at heights above 5,500 metres cannot be survived in the long run’.

Changes caused by a lack of oxygen can lead to serious heart conditions. It is hoped that the generic viagra will improve blood circulation in the linings of the lungs and decrease the risk of PHT.

Seven men were administered generic viagra and sever other men were given placebos.

The results were optimistic, but the doctors say many more test will be needed.

I had read earlier reports of this sudden hearing loss, (SHL), going back years, but I thought the whole issue had been brushed aside as insignificant. However, this past Thursday, October 18th, the FDA made their announcement that these three manufacturers Pfizer for Viagra and Revatio, Eli Lilly for Cialis, and GlaxoSmithKline for Levitra will need to put the possibility of sudden hearing loss on their drug’s labels.
