Google isn’t giving numbers, of course, but here are the top searching countries for ‘buy viagra’ for the year 2007.

I guess Russia and Ukraine are no big surprise; Israel is to me though. The UK, being part of the EU, has some relaxed laws on imports I believe. India is a haven for pill manufacturers. Denmark is full of sex crazed men. Italians just can’t get it hard. And that about rounds up 2007, thank you and come again.

An Akron man busted for distributing counterfeit erectile dysfunction drugs is headed for the federal penal system.

Ryan Wheele, 32, was sentenced Friday in federal court to 30 days in prison for participating in an online pharmacy scam that delivered the prescription drugs through the mail. - ohio.com

According to court records, Wheele was paid $15 per order and made $12,000 between December 2005 and June 2006, ok, so he made about $2,000/mo.

Wheele was not an internet marketer. He was a puppet of some foreign Sildenafil citrate marketers that were obtaining the orders and the pills. The foreigners, not named in the news report, would send the pills and a list of customers to Wheele and he would repackage the pills as Viagra, Levitra, or Cialis. Wheele then shipped the orders to customers all around the United States from his Akron, Ohio location.

I guess Mr Wheele thought the US postal workers were sort of stupid and would not notice all those packages coming from his address. Well, the US postal workers contacted the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and Drug Enforcement Administration. In short time, they searched Wheele’s house and found 50,000 Sildenafil citrate pills being sold as fake Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra.

I think he got off easy with just 30 days. Seems that he broke several federal laws, including mail fraud.

I heard that a herbalist in Canada, Robert Rogers, recommends Tribulus saying that tribulus increases testosterone production by up to 30%. I could not confirm this.

I have found many articles online that refer to a bulgarian study of 200 men suffering from impotance. Supposedly, the results showed that tribulus extracts increased sperm production and sperm survival. I have not been able to confirm this either.

I wasn’t totally convinced by the article on about.com so I searched for a more authoritative opinion on the possibility of Tribulus terrestris being a valid alternative to Viagra (Sildenafil citrate) for erectilte dysfunction (male impotance).

I finally found an opinion from a medical doctor:

Tribulus Terrestris and sexual behavior
One rodent study found tribulus to be helpful as a sex booster. Sexual behavior and intracavernous pressure (ICP) were studied in both normal and castrated rats to further understand the role of tribulus as an aphrodisiac. ICP refers to blood flow into the corpus cavernosa of the penis. Adult rats were divided into groups of 8 each that included distilled water treated (normal and castrated), testosterone treated (normal and castrated) and tribulus treated (castrated). Compared to the castrated control, treatment of castrated rats (with either testosterone or tribulus extract) showed increase in prostate weight and ICP. There was also a mild to moderate improvement in sexual behavior as evidenced by an increase in mounting frequency.
In my personal and professional experience, tribulus terrestris does seem to have a positive influence on sexual enhancement. The only miracle-Viagra story left that would surprise me is if Viagra brings someone back from the dead.

Things were going swell until it was realized that many of the men receiving the free Viagra were not using it with their wives. LOL.

The first one, securance.blogs.com is about anti-spam, this is their page Title: “Anti Spam Software & Internet Filters Blog”, yet it’s full of pill comment spam. LOL

The second one is a half decent, although very short (39 words), comment about wordpress viagra comment spam by Dave Naylor. I don’t know how he draws comments with such short posts, but I’ve seen him do it over and over again.

The third one is nothing but spam. Remember, I was not trying to find spam, I was trying to finds blog posts and articles about viagra search engine spam. I never heard of wikipad before, but I guess it’s like a notepad and this one has a search feature so the spammer searched the wikipad for “spam”. And now there’s news that Viagra (sildenafil) may worsen severe sleep apnea.

A report in the Archives Internal Medicine (Volume 166, page 1763 ) suggests that taking Viagra at bedtime may worsen severe obstructive sleep apnea. Viagra prolongs the action of nitric oxide, which promotes upper airway congestion, thereby contributing to sleep apnea. Just one dose of Viagra significantly increased the amount of sleep time with a lower blood oxygen saturation level; while asleep, men who took Viagra weren’t getting as much oxygen as those who took a placebo. They also had more breathing pauses per hour.

Bottom line advice on Viagra and sleep apnea: If you take Viagra and have sleep apnea, talk with your doctor about whether the pleasures you derive from taking the drug outweigh the risks of worsening your nighttime breathing problems.

A Google image search for “erection hardness meter” (with quotes) returns only six images. One from www.pharmamarketingblog.com, one from www.pharmamarketingblog.com, and four from www.pharma-mkting.com , but none of them helped me find Pfizer’s Erection Hardness Meter.

I am beginning to think maybe the whole Erection Hardness Meter and the Erection Hardness Score is just a hoax by Pfizer, what we would call linkbait or “creating a buzz”. If so, it’s working.

I did find these grades which I presume would be the result of using Pfizer’s Erection Hardness Meter.

1. Grade 1 - Penis is larger but not hard
2. Grade 2 - Penis is hard, but not hard enough for penetration
3. Grade 3 - Penis is hard enough for penetration but not completely hard
4. Grade 4 - Penis is completely hard and fully rigid

1. Grade 1 - Severe ED
2. Grade 2 - Moderate ED
3. Grade 3 - Mild ED
4. Grade 4 - No ED

“The EHS provides a quantitative measure of the degree of erection hardness and therefore treatment efficacy in patients with erectile dysfunction,” Pfizer said.

I’m not done researching Pfizer’s Erection Hardness Meter yet. I have created a Google comprehensive, as-it-happens, “erection hardness meter” alert.

I am also in the beta stage of designing a Syndk8.net Erection Hardness Meter. This would be an Erection Hardness Meter that any man could make at home with typical household items. So far what I have in mind is a tube about 5 inches long. You could use one of those cardboard tubes that toilet tissue comes on. Then you fill the tube with whipped potato. The consistency of the whipped potato is very important and we will post the exact recipe later. Lastly you push your penis into the tube and measure the amount of whipped potato that your penis pushes out the other end. The harder your erection, the more whipped potato you will push out. To make this testing more fun, your girlfriend, (or if you’re a peter-puffer, your boytoy), could eat the whipped potato as it drops out of the end of the tube, (gravy comes later, if you get my drift).
