What Viagra Can NOT Do
22 10 2007It’s pretty common knowledge what Pfizer’s Viagra can do for a man, basically Viagra allows an increase in blood flow to the penis. However, the Viagra sales pitch implies much more. In some cases, the sales pitch is blatantly false, such as, “Have Bigger Erections!” and “Get Aroused Faster with Viagra!”.
Over zealous “journalists sometimes contribute to the hype, such as Mary Bellis’s article titled “Viagra, the patenting of an aphrodisiac” on about.com.
Two Myths Debunked:
1. Viagra does not make a man’s penis larger.
The average erect penis is about six inches and if that was your size before taking Viagra, that will be your size after taking Viagra.
2. Viagra does not cause a man to be sexually aroused, it does not increase a man’s desire for sex, it does not make a man horny.
“Viagra (Sildenafil citrate) should be used only to help restore a man’s ability to respond naturally to sexual stimulation, said Irawan Rustandi, the firm’s medical director.”
“It is a strong medicine only effective for those suffering from erectile dysfunction and its effect cannot be found in people with normal erectile function,” Irawan said. “So, it is not a drug for sex adventurers.
