Pfizer Viagra: World Competition
18 10 2007
Many people check the ‘buy viagra’ search engine results positions, (SERPs), everyday. Some check it every few hours. It’s a really hot term due to the vast amount of money that can be earned by getting some of that traffic and sending it to a viagra merchant landing page.
However, reporting on the ‘buy viagra’ SERPs is boring for both you and I, so to keep this blog interesting, I have written posts on the top Viagra alternatives, Horny Goat Weed and Yohimbe bark, and I even wrote a post about the top US colleges that are listed in the ‘buy viagra’ serps.
Yet still, I am thinking that some of you might consider this a bit boring so I want to take a look at the ‘buy viagra’ SERPs in a way that no one has done before.
I thought it might be interesting today to compare how the largest countries in the world stack up against each other for raw pages listed in Google’s search for ‘buy viagra’. I’m pretty sure no one looks close at this information because the information is friggin’ useless. Or is it? Could there be a money opportunity hidden here?
Here are the five largest countries in the world by population, with the number of pages indexed by Google for the query “buy viagra’:
| Country | Population | Pages in Google |
| People’s Republic of China (.cn) | 1,321,310,000 | 1,440,000 |
| India (.in) | 1,169,016,000 | 122,000 |
| United States (.com,.org,.net,.info) | 303,139,000 | 20,600,000 |
| Indonesia | 231,627,000 | 549,000 |
| Brazil | 187,223,000 | 167,000 |
For the US, there are more domain name extensions, but with just these four, the US is the clear ‘BUY VIAGRA’ winner with over 20 million pages indexed by Google, oo-Rah!
So, what about that opportunity that I mentioned? India? Brazil?
Brazil is the fifth largest country in the world, but with only 167,000 pages indexed in Google. Read Earl Grey’s assessment here!
