The Key to Ranking for Generic Viagra
Oct 03

“As noticed by Dave, some of the Google search suggestions are leading to thin affiliate sites. See generic viagra or generic valium for example. “

“As shortcusts and search suggestions get more advanced and more common they are going to be cheap traffic sources for those who understand the engines well enough to benefit from them. As search engines roll out these features you can always keep searching and keep testing until you figure out what causes them to select certain pages.”

Hmm, I browsed around their page thinking the article must be continued somewhere, nope. Then I thought maybe the real wisdom is in the user submitted comments?

A few hours ago I had a page that was on google’s #1 SERP for “buy viagra.”

It wasn’t my page originally, I was curious about SEO and .edu pages that redirected to a shop.

I played with the URL path on one result and found the .php exploit used to upload and manage the pages, I changed the password and stopped directory listing and applied for the affiliate service it was using.

While I was asleep, the page disappeared from the SERP’s. It seems like it was removed.

The files haven’t changed and I still have full access to the .edu.

I might try moving the files to another directory, it didn’t appear to have any external links pointing to the pages to get where it was which I found strange.
